Forest Clans

Can you survive in the wild?

Mates

This is the mates page. Post in the chatbox below if you like another cat or just want a mate! Post your name, clan and gender. Later on, there is a second shoutbox where you can confirm your mates. Here, medicine cats, she-cat leaders and deputies may have mates and kits. Cross clan mates are allowed, and kits can go to either the father's or mother's Clan, whichever the parents choose. Apprentices can like another cat, but both of them have to be warriors if they want to be mates or have kits. If both cats want to be mates with each other, both have to confirm it in the second chatbox or they will not be counted as mates.

Mates rules (only a few!)

1. Apprentices cannot be mates with warriors

2. She-cats may only have three litters of up to 5 kits.

3. Don't keep bugging someone if they don't like you - get over it!

4. You can 'reserve' someone: that means if you are an apprentice, and you've found someone else that likes you, you can 'reserve' that person. He or she must also agree to it.

Kits

Mates discuss how many kits they want, their names and personalities in the first chatbox. Confirm it in the guestbook and you will play as them during the period when they are still kits (2 months).

After the months are over and all the kits in your litter has been adopted, they will be apprenticed. In the case when there is only one kit left unadopted, all the kits in the same litter, except that one kit, will be apprentice. The parents will have to think up a reason for why the kit was not apprenticed yet, for example, breaking a limb, recovering from greencough and so on.

Please try not to put names in the personalities of the kits unless it is most probably a fixed one (for example, a warrior name), as it will be inconvinient to change the names to apprentices (if a kit name is mentioned) and to warriors (if an apprentice name is mentioned) when the specific cat moves up a rank.
